Landrum shocks even himself

Chris Landrum a linebacker out of Sweet Water high school has verbally committed to the Auburn Tigers Wednesday morning. Landrum is figured to be a top player in the state of Alabama this year and one of the best linebackers in the southeast. When Landrum started the recruiting process he figured that he would commit to play at the University of Alabama since he was such a die-hard Alabama fan. The fact that Auburn needed linebackers was not a decision factor for him to commit to Auburn. So when he committed to Auburn he even shocked himself and says it was the coaches that made the difference.
"There was something different about the coaches," said Landrum. "There was something about them that caught my attention. All of the coaches are really friendly, easy people to get along with and great people to be around. Once I got to know them I knew I wanted to be there."

Landrum is the sixth commit for the Tigers.
